Dear Family,
My New Year was pretty good.
I am teaching a lady named Dreamlin and let me just tell you I cannot keep a straight face when she talks, she says the most interesting things. She says she is 10th generation Pocahontas and she writes poetry that she can't recite in her church but that the angels in heaven record it and give it to God so he can read it to angels that are having problems. I'll have to tell you more when I can talk in person. She is just crazy great.
I also got told this week that I have a million dollar smile which naturally just made me smile all the more. Some random old black guy that we were talking to said that. It made my day.
Ryan Jones is getting baptized on Saturday so that's pretty awesome and I'm going to be able to do that for him. He also got engaged New Years Eve so that's pretty exciting. As far as transfers go... I'm staying here and Elder Nielson is moving on. Elder Warburton who was in the MTC with me is my new companion and of that I'm super excited for. Plus we are getting an additional set of missionaries for the 1st ward so I am now going to be in a 4-pad and I'm going to be the only one to know what is going on and I have the responsibility in dividing up the area and what not.
Oh, also on Sunday we sang Hymn number 42 for the opening song, there were about 70 people there and it was a random song that nobody knew so nobody was singing except the people that were sitting on the passing the sacrament bench which I was apart of. Anyway, Brother Fisher, a huge guy that flies the A10 planes for the air force was sitting next to me and we both could not stop laughing at the song because it was so random. It was really funny.
It hasn't been very cold at all lately and everyone is getting pretty nervous cause that means that it can be a pretty nasty hurricane season, and naturally I'm just getting excited ha ha. So hopefully it'll be a neat one ;-P
Anyway, love ya lots and hope that everything goes well for everyone this week. Until next time I write. Farewell
Elder Klingler
